Texas Beauty Show Policies
To enhance the show experience for all, cooperation with the following is appreciated.
Qualified Attendees
The Texas Beauty Show is a trade show for only Beauty Industry Professionals -- cosmetologists, barbers, aestheticians, salon/spa owners and students of the beauty industry.
Attendees may be required to verify professional or student beauty industry affiliation at the entrance of the show floor or at the Registration Desk. Along with a valid driver’s license or other form of state- or federal-issued picture ID, please bring one of the following acceptable beauty industry credentials:
- Cosmetology license
- Other appropriate license verifying professional beauty industry affiliation
- Salon/Spa business license
- Cosmetology school business or state license
- W-2 form
- Letter (on official letterhead) from owner of salon/spa verifying employment
- Current student identification, class schedule, or letter from the school (on school letterhead) verifying enrollment
- Professional beauty association membership card (NCA, CCA, TSA, ISPA, etc.)
Minimum Age Requirement
Due to insurance liabilities, safety reasons and with respect to the beauty professionals who attend or exhibit at the show, no one under the age of 16 (including exhibitors’ models) will be admitted onto the show floor or into any education areas.
Tickets/Registration
All ticket sales are non-refundable and non-transferable (cannot be shared). Any tickets that are lost, forgotten, misplaced or stolen will have to be repurchased.
If you have purchased a ticket and are not able to attend the show, you may send in your ticket to Texas Beauty Show management with a brief explanation, and we will issue you a ticket for the following year's show. The mailing address is: PO Box 341300, Austin, Texas, 78734.
Education
All class attendees must hold a valid Texas Beauty Show 2008 professional or student ticket.
Class attendance is limited.
Classes which offer registration on www.texasbeautyshow.com are available on a “first-come, first-reserved” basis. The same may apply for classes that require registration directly with the Educator.
Classes or workshops fees are set by the Educator providing the class or workshop. Any complaints or requests for refunds should be addressed directly to the Educator.
Educators who offer Texas Continuing Education credit are solely responsible for collecting attendee information and submitting it to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Show Floor & Education Areas
No photography or videotaping is allowed without express written permission from the show organizer, Beauty Show Management, LLC.
Smoking inside is prohibited by the Dallas Convention Center. Designated smoking areas outside the building will be marked.
No strollers or pull carts are allowed on the show floor.
If attending the show with friends in the industry, be sure to set a specific time and place to meet, as there is no public paging system within the Convention Center.

If you have special needs that require assistance to ensure your participation is more enjoyable and meaningful, please contact us with your request at 512-415-8300 at least three weeks prior to the show.

Opinions stated by exhibitors, attendees and educators are not necessarily those of the Texas Beauty Show or of Beauty Show Management, LLC.
Show management reserves the right to change or cancel any portion of the program without prior notice and cannot be held responsible for exhibitors or educators that cancel participation in the event.
